Matthew Kenney & Alfred Portale Host Vegan Dinner at Food and Wine SOBE
I was in the Food and Wine SOBE in Miami last week, and it was really excited about this wonderful dinner at the venue The Space Miami, hosted by the chef Matthew Kenney from M.A.K.E
in Los Angeles, Chef Alfred Portale, author of the vegetarian recipe journal Greenmarket to Gotham and Alex Guarnaschelli, Chef of Butter and The Darby in NYC.
The dinner was a blend of innovative technique with seasonal, local produce, and vibrant culinary art. Matthew’s beautiful dishes are crafted with fresh and raw ingredients.
The venue The Space Miami will be the next location of The White Lotus, a living foods restaurant, featuring cutting edge, plant-based cuisine by Matthew and his partner Karla Dascal, who plan to open the place in September of 2014.
It will surelly be my next culinary stop in Miami!
